The first light faded.
The second was ours.

Blue hour begins on water, under bridges, and above a parking lot. Then the switch happens: a stadium becomes pink weather, stage beams cross a field of raised phones, fog rewrites an ordinary street, and parade light travels between houses. The crowd eventually falls away, leaving the moon, a cold glow above the block, and a dashboard carrying the night forward.
